The Conservatorio Superior de Música «Manuel de Falla» is an institution belonging to the General Directorate of Artistic Education (DGEART) of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. It is a state-managed, non-university Higher Institute of Teacher Training. As such, it is part of the National Network of Teacher Training coordinated and managed by the «Instituto Nacional de Formación Docente» (INFD), which has provided it with access to a virtual space that includes a Campus, a Website, and a Blog, granted by the Ministry of Education of the Nation.
Having already celebrated its 100th Anniversary, this House of Studies has transcended the limits of the City of Buenos Aires to project itself nationally and internationally due to the excellence of the teaching it imparts, the quality of its faculty, and the level of its graduates, both in the artistic and teaching fields.
As a public and free institution of higher tertiary education, it offers degree programs that qualify graduates to teach music throughout the country. It is one of the oldest, most prestigious, and most important institutions in the musical training of children and young people in our country and in America, both in terms of teacher training and in the instrumental teaching of performers, conductors, and composers.
